Cheers to the Queers!

OMG! I got to see the Fab 5 last week over at Greenbelt 3 and Glorietta!! Yup, 2 solid days with those gorgeous queers! Unfortunately, i didnt have the energy to wake up for their third show at Alabang Town because it was set at 10 in the friggin morning!! Thom Felicia even made a joke about it saying that he'll probably flake out, considering their cushy couch. hehe. Way to go Thom! And speakin of couch, Jae also commented on how his top actually blends with it, haha! And Carson was just really all funny and flamboyant.. trying to talk in tagalog, which of course got the crowd laughing always, especially when he gave that lousy host, Anton, a smack -- which I'm not sure if it got him aflamed. I seriously think that the event organizers made a terrible mistake in choosing him as host. He was too.. what's the word.. soft-spoken, didn't connect much with Kyan and the rest of the guys, he just fired away with all the questions he had on his flashcards. Calling him demure would just be an understatement, or is it a redundancy?

Greenbelt 3

This picture was from day 2 in Glorietta, book-signing. I was too far obviously from them, boo-hoo!!

So you must be thinking that I actually got to have their artsy autographs.. Well, that is a frastrating no. You see, you have to buy their book and along with it would include a pass to get you guaranteed seats and pictures. Sad to say, I made impulsive buys the week before and didnt save enough moolah for the event! Another boo-hoo for me! Obviosuly, that didn't diminish my spirit! Second day at Glorietta was the most rewarding for me, if I should say, because I was able to get a close shot a Kyan (sideview nga lang! hehe) Madz and I were at the side of the stage when I saw Kyan stood up and walked towards the back. I knew that would be our chance so i ran as fast as i could and screamed, "KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNN!!!!!" haha, it was all too crazy! I instantly became a fan girl. harharh.. Madz was running behind me with her camera and we saw Kyan enter the women's lavatory (soshal!) and raising our arms, trying with all our efforts to take a decent picture. We were waiting for him to get back so when the door finally opened, everyone started taking pictures

Madz: *Shouting, arms and camera raised* Kung sino ka man!!!! *click! click! click!*

I dont know with her, but this was what i got...

my pathetic effort.. thank you.

Waaaahhh!! I was getting really frustrated by that time. Kyan got out and i wasnt able to take his picture because of all the shoving. I dont actually remember what happened next, but i think we just stayed where we were, where we last saw kyan, and five minutes later, all the security people were placing the barricades. Of course, that only meant one thing, the queers were passing through!! I shouted, "EVERY WOMAN FOR HERSELF!!!" and soon enough, I was lucky this time that I was able to position myself right in front so when those big bouncers (haha) started coming i knew who were behind them. And so ladies and gentlemen, withought further ado, here is the finest shot of them all. *haha*

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" Si manong naman, epal eh!! Kyannnnnnn!!! may bonus pang ilong ni thom, o di ba!

Pirates of the Carriedo

I've just seen Pirates of the Caribbean, or Carriedo, as Madz refers to it,last Thursday. What can I say, plot was good, story was great (major clincher though,it's a trilogy), cgi graphics and robotics were both highly skillful, and the characters, ahh yes, the characters were just top-notch.. Hello! It's Johnny Depp! Who's to complain, except maybe the guy seated behind us at the movie house who loudly commented, "bakit sya ganyan? Hindi ko maintindihan kung bading o macho!" It's called stage business, dumb ass! I enjoyed most of the movie, except for parts when Tia Delma was on because i couldnt understand her character's accent.. Parang mix of jamaican/french/transylvanian, haha, i actually remember wishing i had a remote control to turn on the captions. Another thing that ticked me was the fact that I was trying to figure out who she looks like, and it dawned on me at the last part of the film wherein Orlando bloom and company went her swampy abode to help them find Capt. Jack (close kami) ... it was like someone has switched the light bulb on.. Naomi Harris, aka Tia Delma in the movie looks like JINKY ODA, aka Bale, from Ok ka Fairy Ko! Hahaha!!

urban sunset

Took this picture on my way home last week off the c5 / market-market ramp using my phone (hence the poor pixel quality). It just got me dazed off toward the horizon (yes!) while driving so i decided to take a shot of it. I dunno, eversince college I've developed this interest in photography.. I was suppose to take a class when I shifted to Multimedia Arts, but then something happened so it didnt push through (which is a totally different story) .. So i guess you could call it a frustration of mine. But I do try to capture nice ones every once in a while. The others are purely accidental lang pero turned out to be cool (at least in my opinion it is, hehe) like this one below:

Again, that was using my 6270 phone.. Ditto. On our way to Baguio 2 months ago.
